Privacy Policy

We believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a legal formality. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how our browser-based architecture protects your data by design.

Effective Date: 1 January 2025 Last Updated: 1 July 2025 Version: 2.0

Introduction

DailyToolkitPro is a free browser-based productivity tool platform operated by Shabir Khan under CapitalLens Studio. It provides tools including calculators, converters, document generators, image processors and more — all of which run directly in your web browser without requiring server-side data processing.

This Privacy Policy describes how DailyToolkitPro ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit our website at dailytoolkitpro.com. By using DailyToolkitPro, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

🛡️
Our core commitment: The tools on DailyToolkitPro process your data locally on your own device wherever technically possible. This is not a policy we apply voluntarily — it is a direct consequence of how the tools are architected. Your documents, images, calculations and invoice data do not reach our servers.

Information We Collect

We distinguish between three categories of information: information you voluntarily provide, technical information collected automatically and analytics information collected by third-party services.

2.1 Information You Voluntarily Provide

You provide information voluntarily when you contact us using the contact form or by email. This information includes your name, email address and the content of your message. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not stored beyond that purpose.

Importantly, no data entered into our tools is voluntarily provided to us. When you type text into the Word Counter, upload an image to the Image Compressor or fill in an invoice in the Invoice Generator, that data stays on your device. It is never transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Technical Information Collected Automatically

When you visit DailyToolkitPro, standard web server and browser interactions may result in the following information being recorded by our hosting infrastructure or third-party services:

  • Your IP address (processed by hosting infrastructure, not stored by us personally)
  • The type of browser you are using and its version
  • The device type (desktop, tablet, mobile)
  • The operating system you are using
  • The pages you visit on DailyToolkitPro and how long you spend on each
  • The URL of the page that referred you to DailyToolkitPro (if applicable)
  • The date and time of your visit

This technical information is collected in aggregated, anonymised form via Google Analytics. It is used to understand how the platform is used and to improve it — not to identify individual users.

2.3 Preferences Stored in Your Browser

DailyToolkitPro stores certain preferences in your browser's localStorage to improve your experience. This includes your chosen display theme (dark or light mode), your selected language and, in some tools, a saved draft of your work. localStorage is not a cookie — it is a browser storage mechanism that operates entirely on your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Browser-Based Processing & Privacy by Design

🖥️
What this means in practice: When you use any DailyToolkitPro tool — converting units, generating an invoice, compressing an image or creating a QR code — the entire computation runs inside your browser using JavaScript that was downloaded to your device when the page loaded. No data is transmitted to any external server to produce the result.

This architectural decision is the foundation of our privacy commitment. It means that the question of "what does DailyToolkitPro do with my invoice data?" has a straightforward answer: nothing. We never receive it. There is no database where your invoice details, document contents, converted images or calculation inputs could be stored, because there is no upload step.

What stays on your device

  • Text you enter into the Word Counter, Text Case Converter or any text-based tool
  • Images you upload for compression, format conversion or PDF creation
  • Invoice details including client names, amounts, bank details and business information
  • Calculations in the Age Calculator, Percentage Calculator, Unit Converter and all other calculators
  • QR code content, including Wi-Fi passwords, contact details and URLs
  • Colors, palettes and CSS variables generated with the Color Picker

All of this data is processed in your browser's memory and is cleared when you close the tab or navigate away. Where localStorage is used for convenience (saving a draft), that data remains on your device only and is not transmitted anywhere.

Cookies and Local Storage

DailyToolkitPro's own tools and functionality do not rely on cookies. We use browser localStorage for storing user preferences. However, third-party services integrated with DailyToolkitPro — specifically Google Analytics and Google AdSense — may place cookies in your browser.

4.1 First-Party Storage (localStorage)

We use browser localStorage (not HTTP cookies) to store:

  • Theme preference: Whether you prefer dark or light mode (key: dt-theme)
  • Language preference: Your selected language (key: dt-lang)
  • Tool drafts: Saved drafts in tools like the Invoice Generator and Word Counter (keys prefixed with dtp-)

This data exists only on your device, is not transmitted anywhere and can be cleared by clearing your browser's site data or storage.

4.2 Third-Party Cookies (Google)

Google Analytics 4 places cookies in your browser to measure aggregate site usage anonymously. Google AdSense may place cookies to serve and personalise advertisements. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

⚙️
You can control third-party cookies through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to block third-party cookies entirely, delete existing cookies or set preferences per site. Blocking these cookies will not affect your ability to use any DailyToolkitPro tool.

Google Analytics

DailyToolkitPro uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. We use it to understand how visitors use the platform — which tools are most popular, how users navigate between pages, how long they engage with content and their approximate geographic region. This information helps us improve the platform and prioritise development.

Google Analytics collects data such as: pages visited, time spent per page, browser type, device type, approximate location (country or city level, derived from IP address) and referral source. This data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form and is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

📊
What we can see in Analytics: Aggregate numbers — "1,200 users visited the Invoice Generator this week, 60% from mobile" — not individual user identities or behaviour. We cannot see who you are, what you calculated or what you created.

Opting Out of Google Analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On. This add-on prevents Google Analytics from collecting information about your website visits across all sites that use it.

Google AdSense & Advertising

DailyToolkitPro is supported by advertising provided by Google AdSense, a service operated by Google LLC. Advertising is how we fund the platform — it allows us to make all tools permanently free without charging users or collecting their data for commercial purposes.

How AdSense Works

Google AdSense may display personalised or non-personalised advertisements on DailyToolkitPro. Personalised advertising uses cookies and browsing history to show advertisements that Google determines are relevant to you based on your interests. Non-personalised advertising shows advertisements based on the content of the page you are viewing rather than your personal profile.

Advertiser Independence

Advertisers have no influence over our tools, content, editorial decisions or tool recommendations. Advertisements are served automatically by Google's systems. We do not accept direct advertising arrangements, sponsored tool placements or paid content of any kind. What you see in our tools and content is independent of any advertiser.

💡
Controlling your ad preferences: You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings. You can also click the AdChoices icon on any advertisement on this site to manage your preferences.

Third-Party Services

DailyToolkitPro integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read them if you want a complete picture of how your data may be handled during your visit.

ServicePurposePrivacy Policy
Google Analytics 4 Anonymous aggregate usage statistics to improve the platform policies.google.com/privacy
Google AdSense Advertising that funds free access to all tools policies.google.com/privacy
Google Fonts Typography (Inter and Space Grotesk typefaces) policies.google.com/privacy
Web Hosting Provider Serving the website files and DNS resolution See your browser's network tab for the hosting provider's domain
jsPDF / html2canvas Browser-side PDF generation (runs locally in your browser) No data is transmitted — open-source libraries running on your device
QRCode.js Browser-side QR code generation (runs locally in your browser) No data is transmitted — open-source library running on your device

Data Security

DailyToolkitPro takes data security seriously. The measures we apply are appropriate to the nature of the data we handle — which, given our browser-based architecture, is minimal.

HTTPS Everywhere

The entire DailyToolkitPro website is served over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. All data transmitted between your browser and our web servers — including page loads and any contact form submissions — is encrypted in transit.

No Sensitive Data Storage

Because our tools process data in your browser rather than on our servers, we do not store sensitive data such as document contents, financial information, personal details or uploaded files. There is no database of user tool usage to protect, because we do not create one.

Contact Form Security

Information submitted via our contact form is transmitted to support@dailytoolkitpro.com over an encrypted connection. Access to this mailbox is restricted to the founder. Enquiry information is retained only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry.

Ongoing Maintenance

The platform is actively maintained. Security updates to the website infrastructure and third-party libraries are applied regularly. Browser-side JavaScript libraries used in the tools are reviewed for security issues and updated as needed.

Your Rights

Even though DailyToolkitPro collects very limited personal data, you have the following rights regarding the information we hold.

👁️
Right to Know

You can ask us what personal information (if any) we hold about you. For most users, this will be nothing beyond standard server logs.

✏️
Right to Correct

If you have contacted us and believe we hold incorrect information, contact us and we will correct it promptly.

🗑️
Right to Delete

You can request deletion of any personal data we hold from contact form submissions. Email us and we will delete the relevant correspondence.

🍪
Control Cookies

Use your browser settings to block, delete or control cookies. Clearing localStorage via browser settings removes all DailyToolkitPro preferences.

📤
Right to Portability

Your tool-generated content — PDFs, invoices, converted images — is saved directly to your device. There is no account holding your data that requires export.

🚫
Opt Out of Analytics

Install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On or use your browser's privacy settings to prevent analytics collection.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@dailytoolkitpro.com. We respond to all requests within 48 hours.

Children's Privacy

DailyToolkitPro provides general-purpose productivity tools that are suitable for users of all ages, including students and young learners. The platform is not directed specifically at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

Because our tools do not require account creation, registration or the submission of personal information, children using the tools do not provide us with personal data through tool use. The only mechanism by which any user could provide personal information is through the contact form, which is intended for enquiries from adults.

If you believe a child under 13 has inadvertently provided personal information via our contact form, please contact us at support@dailytoolkitpro.com and we will delete the information immediately.

International Users

DailyToolkitPro serves users worldwide and currently supports 13 languages: English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The platform is accessible from any country with internet access.

The platform is operated by CapitalLens Studio, based in the United Kingdom. If you are accessing DailyToolkitPro from outside the United Kingdom, please be aware that any personal information you provide via the contact form will be processed in the UK.

For users in the European Union: given our minimal data collection practices and browser-based processing architecture, we believe we operate in a manner consistent with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you have specific GDPR-related enquiries, contact us at support@dailytoolkitpro.com.

For users in California, USA: we do not sell personal information. Given our minimal data practices, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) categories of personal information we hold are limited to contact form submissions, which are handled as described in this policy.

Updates to This Policy

We review and update this Privacy Policy whenever our practices change, when we add new services or features, or when legal or regulatory requirements change. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version was published.

Significant changes — such as the addition of a new data collection practice or a new third-party service — will be noted in the platform's Changelog on the homepage and the effective date will be updated. We do not send policy update notifications by email, so we encourage you to check this page periodically.

This policy was last updated on 1 July 2025. Previous versions of this policy are available on request at support@dailytoolkitpro.com.

Privacy FAQ

No. The tools on DailyToolkitPro do not collect, transmit or store personal data. All tool processing happens locally in your browser. No data you enter into any tool is sent to our servers. We cannot see what you calculate, write, convert, compress or create.

DailyToolkitPro's own tools use browser localStorage (not cookies) to save preferences such as dark mode and language selection. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage statistics. Google AdSense may use cookies to serve and personalise advertisements. You can control advertising cookies via your browser settings or the AdChoices link on advertisements.

It means your data does not leave your device when you use our tools. When you upload an image to convert to PDF, create an invoice or calculate a percentage, the entire operation runs in your browser using JavaScript that was downloaded to your device. The result is produced on your device — no data is transmitted to any server.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share anonymous, aggregate analytics data with Google Analytics as part of that service. Google AdSense may collect cookies for advertising personalisation according to Google's own privacy policy. We do not share identifiable personal information with any third party for commercial purposes.

Click the AdChoices icon on any advertisement on this site, or visit Google's Ad Settings at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy. You can also use your browser's privacy settings to block third-party cookies entirely, which will prevent advertising personalisation. Doing so will not affect your ability to use any DailyToolkitPro tool.

Yes. The tools themselves function entirely without cookies. DailyToolkitPro uses localStorage (not cookies) for preferences, and this is optional — if you clear your browser's site storage, the tools continue to work normally. Google Analytics and AdSense cookies may still be placed by those third-party services, but blocking them does not affect tool functionality.

The tools are general-purpose productivity tools suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the tools do not require account creation or data submission, children using the tools do not provide personal information through tool use.

Contact form submissions are received at support@dailytoolkitpro.com and retained only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry. Once the matter is resolved, the correspondence is deleted. We do not archive contact submissions in a database or retain them for marketing purposes.

Yes. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous, aggregate data about how the website is used — which pages are visited, which tools are most popular and the general geographic region of visitors. This data is collected without personal identification and cannot be linked to any individual. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

Email us at support@dailytoolkitpro.com or use the Contact page at dailytoolkitpro.com/contact.html. All privacy enquiries are handled personally by Shabir Khan, the platform's founder. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
